News: I'm quoted in today's Guardian Review!

It was quite a shock when Ian Sales sent me a message on Twitter today:

@nextread did you know you’re quoted in today’s Guardian?

As you would I rushed out and bought a copy.

And  here I am in The Week in Books section:

It’s slightly out of context (as straight after the quote I asked: Is there something we are missing?) but it is the boundaries of Science Fiction are being pushed with this award so it’s an accurate quote.

I’m really pleased to see two bloggers, Walker of Worlds and I being quoted on China Miéville win by Alison Flood in a national newspaper.

I’m chuffed to bits!

    that’s the debate though are books like The Dreden Files science fiction because they are alternative reality because they allow magic? As TC&TC is seen as a fantasy tale rather than science.
