Competition: Tales Of The Perilous Realm by Tolkien Limited Edition

046635-fc170

I’m quite excited by the first competition here on NextRead.

To celebrate the relaunch of the Tolkien Store I have a copy of Tales Of The Perilous Realm by J.R.R Tolkien. It’s signed by Alan Lee and the signed edition is limited to 500 copies.

Now I think that’s quite a cool prize.

A bit more about Tales of the Perilous Realm:

This is the definitive collection of Tolkien’s five acclaimed modern classic ‘fairie’ tales in the vein of ‘The Hobbit’.

Roverandom and the four other tales are written with the same skill, quality and hallmarks that made Tolkien’s Hobbit a classic. In the past they were largely overlooked because of their short lengths, but will now be finally together in a new volume which reaffirms Tolkien’s place as a master storyteller for readers young and old.

I loved The Hobbit and I didn’t know that there where short stories in the same vein. So it’s a book I’d love to have and I can’t enter! So good luck everyone.

I love Tolkien I bet this book will be wicked.

I would of loved to have met him what a mind he had. I heard he sat around with C J Lewis and they chatted on story ideas.

I agree above what a prize
