Borders US (as I can’t see the same thing going on in the UK) is under fire and should we care? The harsh reality is that there are thousands of books produced a year and lots of them are going to be sci-fi/fantasy and it would be unrealistic to expect a company to stock everything. Well Season of the Witch by Natasha Mostert is on the shelves and I think I’ve heard of another one… but to be far the only way I could really tell if I’ve seen them is looking at the covers. I’ve got a better visual memory. Anyone else know 10, 20 or more of them?

Grasping the Wind has a review of The Company that’s making me push it back up the TBR pile. Any review that start’s, ‘’The Company, written by K. J. Parker, is a depressing novel, yet excellent novel’ has my vote!
