		<description>@ Bookgeek Maybe I&#039;ll try one and if I get a similar reaction I&#039;m calling it quits. Does that sound too dramatic?  Actually I&#039;m reading The Painted Man as soon I&#039;ve got a little further with Infoquake so I might put my feelings to the test.</description>

I think that what they have in common is that they are all very character-driven and do not have many of the trappings of epic high fantasy. I&#039;ve not read Path of Revenge, so I can&#039;t compare them with that.</description>
