I saw your Scarpetta remarks, and thoroughly enjoyed your saying she's forgotten how to write. That's been my experience, though I've heard good things about the latest. Here's a thriller/high-tech novel you might like: &lt;a href="http://www.somekindofangel.com" rel="nofollow"&gt; Some Kind of Angel&lt;/a&gt; by Mel Harter. Murderer/blackmailer who is advocating/demanding radical public policy change (on his timetable, of course) goes up against a young forensic doctor and an older investigative journalist. I work in newspapers, so I particularly like the inclusion of the journalist. The deadline for disaster grows closer and still the team of Sneetz and Muldoon race to identify and destroy the terrorist and disarm the weapons of mass destruction to avoid catastrophe and mass murder. This is a wonderful addition to the thriller/crime category.</description>
