Should you finish every book you start?

I don't see why the bally dickens you should, no. I do not continue to eat an apple if I find it a touch more infested that it had originally given me reason to believe, nor do I remain on a train bound for Bournemouth if the destination I had in mind was Cheltenham. I don't really understand other people's angst at failing to finish a book. They don't tend to have it about turning off halfway through Neighbours.
